Mixed Input DB tiers

Mixed Input DB is community-driven database dedicated to test and rate how videogames handle simultaneous input. So any combination of mouse, keyboard, and gamepad, used in parallel.

Games with good mixed input support are more accessible, and more fun to play with gyro controllers.

Platinum

Simultaneous input is supported.
Input mode switching (if automatic) has no impact on CPU/GPU performance.
No UI flickering occurs, achieved either by:
- Allowing to choose which input device prompts are displayed (not just which flavor of gamepad icons).
- Allowing to remove unused keybinds, eliminating any ambiguity about which prompt should be displayed.

Gold

Simultaneous input is supported.
There is UI flickering, but it has no impact on CPU/GPU performance.
No other issues prevent from having a satisfactory mixed input experience.

Silver

Simultaneous input is supported.
There is UI flickering, but it has no impact on CPU/GPU performance.
Achieving a satisfactory experience requires:

Specific in-game settings (often obscure or not obvious).
A custom input mapping that requires deep understanding of the game.
Other tweaks that can be performed in-game.

Bronze

Simultaneous input is supported.
There is UI flickering, and it might have minimal impact on CPU/GPU performance.
Achieving a satisfactory experience requires:

Using mods to fix bugs, or tweak hidden settings.
Manually editing game files.
Other advanced tweaks that CANNOT be performed in-game.

No support

Simultaneous input is NOT supported, due to any of the following:

The game only supports a single input mode at a time.
The input stutters when switching between input modes.
UI flickering has significant impact on CPU/GPU performance.
Other game-breaking issues with no known fix.
